How Artists Can Send Artwork to Your Gallery Through ArtCloud

Invite your artists to sign up for a FREE ArtCloud account and accept new works from them via ArtCloud

1) Invite your Artists

Once you've added artists to your account, you can send them an Artist Invitation to create their own ArtCloud Inventory management account.  From the artist contact record, select the "invite" button from the menu on the right. 2) Have your artist check their email and activate their account

Your artists can log in to their ArtCloud account using their email address.  If they lose the email invitation have them go to the log-in page, enter their email address, and then select "forgot your password" to reset. 


3) For your Artist: Setup Your Account

Next, you'll be prompted to create a password and add a profile image for your account

4) Add Your Artwork

Under Inventory > Artwork, you will be taken to a screen that allows you to add artwork either manually or via importer.

Add the artwork title, medium, dimensions, and pricing to the inventory records.  You can drag and drop to upload multiple images under the Uploads tab.

5) Sent Artwork to your Gallery by using the "New Gallery Consignment" Form

Once all the artwork you want to share with your Gallerest is added to your inventory, you'll need to create a new Gallery Consignment to send them the records.

Select all the records using the checkboxes on the left of the inventory records. In the upper right corner look for the "Actions button" and select "Add to list" from the drop-down menu.  Then Select "New Gallery consignment" as the list type.

Under the navigation for Inventory, you'll find these forms saved in an area for Consignment.
When you are looking at a Gallery Consignment record, there are 2 tabs: Overview and Artwork

Overview: Enter the Title of the Consignment, dates, and specify the Contact Recipient. You will start typing "the name of your Gallery or Gallerist" as your Recipient and their contact name should appear in the dropdown menu since your accounts are already linked.

If you work with other Galleries that use ArtCloud, contact support and we can help you link to additional Gallery accounts.

6) Add Artwork To The Consignment

Finally, you'll add Artwork to the Gallery Consignment.

When you switch over to the Artwork tab in your open consignment, you'll have the ability to Add Artwork from the items that you uploaded.

7) Sending The Consignment to the Gallery

Hit the "send" button in the upper right corner of your consignment to share the inventory records with your Gallery.  Once the consignment has been sent off, the included pieces will automatically be marked inactive and the location will be updated to indicate that is on consignment with your Gallery.

That's it, your artwork is on its way! You will receive a confirmation email when your artwork has been accepted into the Gallery account.
