Welcome to artcloud!

artcloud's software is incredibly powerful and trusted by hundreds of galleries, artists, and collectors to manage inventory, client relations, and more. Our goal is to help you efficiently and effectively run your business so you can focus on the things that matter most -- your relationships with artists and clients, and of course the artwork itself.

artcloud doesn't do much without data. The best way to get up and running is to add a little bit of data and see it in action.

The steps below take just a few minutes to go through and will help you get an idea of how artcloud adds value to your business.

Step 1: Add your first piece of artwork

From your artcloud dashboard, follow the prompts to add an artwork.


At a minimum, you'll want to upload an image of the artwork and add a little bit of information:

  • Title
  • Artist Name - just type the name into the search bar and click Add Artist (be sure to hit save!)
  • Medium

Now you've added your first piece of inventory as well as your first artist -- congratulations!

Note: if you're an artist and have selected the Artist account type, you won't be able to add artists to artcloud.

Step 2: Email yourself a tearsheet

artcloud automatically generates all kinds of sales and marketing collateral(certificates of authenticity, tearsheets, invoices, wall tags, and more) from the information you've uploaded about your inventory. 

Now that you've got your first artwork, click on the Actions drop-down menu next to the piece and select Email to Contact.


You'll see a preview of your message along with the tearsheet. Just type in your email address, compose a quick message, and hit send. Then check your inbox to see how the tearsheet looks from a client's perspective.


Step 3: Customize the way your sales and marketing materials look and the information on them

We know your sales and marketing assets are an outward reflection of your business. That's why we've made it easy for you to customize these materials to convey your brand and identity.

To really test this out, you'll want to start by adding the logo you'd like to see on your collateral, as well as any font preferences. You can do that from your style guide, which can be found in the Collateral section of your artcloud account.
